The 2024 Carnival’s upright, boxy look resembles Kia’s well-loved Telluride SUV. The low floor and tall roof combine to create plenty of space that can be used for a variety of purposes. A tri-zone climate control system is standard even in the Carnival’s base model, allowing each row to choose its desired temperatures. Performance
The entire 2024 Carnival line is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine and an 8-speed automatic transmission with an Eco Drive Mode. You’ll get 287 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque.
The front-wheel drive Carnival is estimated to average 18 mpg on city streets and 26 mpg on the highway. Push Button Start, Smart Key, Remote Engine Start, Downhill Brake Control, and Hill Start Assist are standard. The Kia Access app even allows you to pre-cool or pre-heat your Carnival before entering it.
Technology
The 2024 Carnival’s lowest trim level has a standard sound system with six speakers and SiriusXM. A 12.3-inch touchscreen with voice recognition anchors the infotainment system, which includes navigation, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and Bluetooth wireless connectivity for multiple devices. The front console holds a USB data port and two USB-C charging ports are in each row.
Kia’s smart connectivity system uses an embedded modem to integrate with compatible Android and iOS smartwatches, smart speakers, and smartphones. The app offers maintenance reminders, automatically calls 911 when an airbag is employed, and more.
